I don't know where you are right now in life. Maybe you already have a job that is “okay” but you just want more. Or maybe you're totally unhappy and your current job is ruining you. Then it is important for you that you change something.
Finally Happy At Work
You may enjoy your job in some ways, but it is no longer enough for you. When you are unhappy it requires change.
Because a bad job can eat you up, poison you, destroy you, suck the marrow out of your bones. Of course not always. Maybe you've seen something like this before, at least partially.
There are jobs that are fun - even on Mondays. There are jobs that are more than an obligation and an opportunity to make money that feel like a well paying hobby!
And even if you probably don't believe it now: You too can find a job like this. No matter what you've learned, how old you feel and what your current professional situation looks like.
Because it really exists! The one job that really suits you. About your personality, your strengths and your preferences.
What if
you like to get up in the morning and look forward to your working day?
you weren't so frustrated about work anymore?
you would really like your work situation?
you are a pleasant conversation partner for your family again?
And it really works! Finding a dream job does take some work. It is easier to take any job. But life is too short. And it is actually inhuman to experience 8 hours of boredom or even stress and pain every day. I Agree?
Everyone can find their dream job. And it still makes total sense that we can be happy in this important area of life too.
The first step
First of all, it is important to find out who you are and what you want. Because only those who know what they want have a good chance of getting it.
It's a great way of life to have a plan, to know what I want and what the next step is to get there. Such a clear vision is very liberating.
Because then there are only intermediate goals on the way to the big goal: your personal dream job.
Perhaps it is now time to take the first step: your “Project: Dream Job”!
Yes, it's exciting and can make you feel uncomfortable. But every change begins with a daring step forward.
Our demands on our clothing can also play an important role in the work of our profession.
Dear Blog Reader,
It's like this: We spend more time at work than with our partner, our children, our friends or family. Usually 8 hours a day. Sometimes even more.
That is more than half of our waking life !!
And I can't have so many great hobbies to console myself for my dissatisfaction at work.
=> When I am unhappy at work, it is difficult to be happy in life otherwise.
Because our job is important for our sense of happiness and our life satisfaction. Our working hours must be more than just an exchange of “time for money”. It should suit me and fill me. It should make sense and, ideally, also be fun. That would be perfect!
Does that mean just quitting and looking for a new job? No!
Of course, it's not that simple. There are a few important things to think about first:
Does work really always have to be fun? Or could I get by with less?
Maybe I'll have to be happy to get a job at all. I can't make such high demands on that!
There is no such thing as my dream job; it has yet to be invented!
I don't even know what makes sense to me and what I would really enjoy!
When we are unhappy with our professional situation, our job happiness often seems like a distant, inaccessible illusion.
In reality, it is often not that difficult to find a job that suits me better.
Because my personal dream job is defined by which factors are most important to me personally. And when I know these factors, then I'm already one big step closer to my dream job.
It's about finding a job that fulfills your most important factors, i.e. the things that are most important to you personally. Most of the time, our own claims aren't all that absurd. Sometimes it's just the little things that make a big difference.
It is important to find the right work colleagues. It should also be an activity that I enjoy and of course it has to be a company and a job that I can identify with.
How Do I Find Out Which Job Suits Me?
The greatest difficulty is actually that I first have to know what is most important to me personally. This is the only way I can say what suits me.
I need to know what my strengths are. What I like to do. What motivates me and what needs I have in my professional life. What interests me thematically so much that I like to deal with it for a long time. In short: what defines me personally.
In response to this important question, this blog offers some supportive offers:

2 Concrete Steps on the Way to Your Dream Job
Step 1: Develop Possible Job Ideas
What do you want to do in your dream job? What “things” do you want to deal with in your future job? In which specialist field or in which industry do you want to work. Where do you want to work and with whom? Which framework conditions should be met in your dream job?
Step 2: Plan a Way to Get There
Develop a strategy on how you can get closer to your dream job and what first steps you can take so that your dream job becomes a reality for you.
You are an active, challenged person who wants to take control of your life. You are ready to take responsibility for yourself and your family!!
Be aware of your expectations.
Are you ready to do your own research, do research on the Internet, maybe even arrange and conduct interviews with people who are already where you want to be to gain information?
The Process in Concrete Terms
Why is it not possible without a dream job? In order for you to have the necessary motivation, it is necessary to ask yourself this question in detail.
How should my dream job NOT look like? If you know what your dream job shouldn't look like, you can approach your dream job more easily. Answering this question can be fun because it unlocks creativity.
An important look into the past: Ask yourself what common thread is there in your life. What criteria have you used to make your big life decisions so far? Which traits, strengths or weaknesses are responsible in your life that it went this way or that? Only when you know all of this you can make better decisions about your future. This self-awareness step will likely also help you to accept yourself better just for who you are.
What are your success stories like? Because in our past lies the truth about what you will do in your dream job. Your dream job is ideally organized around your strengths and best skills.
What are your strengths and weaknesses? By the way, this knowledge is not only important for your dream job, but also for finding fulfilling relationships and hobbies.
How about your personality? Of course, this has to complement the dream job well. Therefore ask yourself: What are the characteristics of my personality? What is particularly well represented in my work and what makes me less so? Find e.g. your temperament.
Which industries, companies or organizations that could suit you with your skills, values and personality are possible? Write them down.
Question: Is self-employment something for you? As a self-employed person you have more freedom. Maybe you need these for your family. It is often more strenuous at the beginning, but often easier later. Find the advantages and disadvantages of whether self-employment is something for you.
How is your self-marketing doing? Even as an employee, you have to sell yourself and convince the right employers of your skills. How do you show others what you can do? And why is it a good decision to give you a dream job? Think about which methods are most promising for a job search!
Develop your plan of action by asking yourself: What are my next steps? What else do you need to be able to start your dream job and how do you make sure that you actually take the next steps?
At some point there will be a moment of success. "I found a good job!" Thanks be to God!
