My adult children gave me the idea and motivation to write my own blog.
Left to right: Our daughter, Jenny, with her daughter Talita; our daughter-in-law, Gaby, with our son Jesse; next to me, my wife, Terri-Lynn holding our granddaughter Amina; and Jeremy, our youngest. Jenny’s husband, Remo, is missing in the picture, but he is present – as the photographer. This is the view from our Health Center – Sonnmatt across the valley to Mount Spear.
To start a blog at 60 seemed to me an especially interesting challenge.
All my life, one subject has captivated my interest: the world of RELATIONSHIPS.
This all-important theme is to be the focal point for my blog. Good relationships are the secret ingredients that determine our quality of life.
They are vital, yes, even a matter of survival. Why?
Relationships are powered by love, and there is just no argument against love: We all need it. It nourishes our soul, mind and even our body. LOVE MAKES LIFE WORTH LIVING.
When two people meet in the spirit of true love, miracles can happen.
Happiness in a relationship, however, is not just the product of an intimate connection between two people; it also happens in groups.
When a group has a common goal, enormous energy is developed that can almost take on a life of its own to accomplish great things. Community, friendship, support, taking responsibility for each other, acting in each other’s best interest, caring for and appreciating one another: these things make all the difference between a mediocre and a magnificent life!
Common goals can lead to extraordinary achievements
How to design and experience positive relationships – that’s the subject, dear Reader, through which I would like to establish a relationship with YOU! I hope our relationship will be a two-way street, in which not only I communicate, but where you can also comment and actively take part. I would really like to dialogue with you: together we can strive towards the common goal of helping each other find and experience joy in life – in the midst of a complex world of huge challenges.
Looking forward to your feedbacks,
Ernst
